What does Sales do?

Acquire Sales (Business Development Team)

Acquire is the engine behind McLean & Company's growth. As our business development team, we are responsible for acquiring new members by introducing HR leaders to how we dramatically improve the way their organizations operate. Our team is built for high performers who want real ownership—running their deals like their own business and taking responsibility for generating their own opportunities.

You won't do it alone. You'll be supported by a dedicated team of BDRs, world-class marketing, and exposure to high-impact internal and external events. Engage Sales (Account Management Team)

Engage is McLean & Company's Account Management team, focused on deepening member relationships and delivering measurable value. Partnering closely with our delivery teams, we work with members to identify their most critical challenges and ensure our insights, tools, and advisory services drive their key initiatives forward.

Our team is built for self-starters with an entrepreneurial mindset who thrive on ownership and long-term impact. You'll work directly with CHROs and senior HR leaders at some of the most recognizable organizations, becoming a trusted advisor and true partner in their success. How Sales Is Structured

Our sales organization is intentionally built to help high performers excel. Every sales professional is aligned to a dedicated Director who provides hands-on coaching, strategic guidance, and ongoing support. You'll also be backed by a dedicated Sales Enablement team that equips you with the tools, training, and insights needed to perform at the highest level.

Both Acquire and Engage operate within clearly defined territories, giving you true ownership of your market. Success on both teams starts with building and managing a strong pipeline and becoming an expert in outreach—mastering the skills required to consistently create high-quality meetings and opportunities.

Within Engage, defined account territories allow you to develop deep, long-term relationships with your members and act as a trusted partner, supported by an experienced Director and cross-functional teams.

What does Executive Services do?

Our Executive Services team members partner with senior-most HR leaders and their teams with an intense focus on accelerating the execution of members' most strategic priorities. We blend our years of experience as practitioners and advisors to dozens of members with McLean & Company's brilliant research and analysts to enable measurable outcomes. ES Team members serve as a catalyst for developing and refining our members' HR strategies while driving toward action, enabling the attainment of their organization's critical business objectives.

How is Executive Services structured?

Executive Services has two primary roles – Executive Counselor and Executive Advisor – who are led by a Managing Partner. The seasoned HR executives and leaders in these roles collaborate regularly with our colleagues in Sales, Research and Operations to ensure we are delivering extraordinary service and value to our members.

What does HR Research, Learning, & Advisory Services do?

The department leverages their collective knowledge, insight, and experience to develop practical, evidence-based research, training, tools, and provide highly rated experiences that solve our members' toughest challenges.

How is HR Research, Learning, & Advisory Services structured?

The Research department is made up of several groups that work together in developing and delivering excellent service and solutions to our members to propel their business objectives forward:
  • HR Research & Advisory Services Conducts primary and secondary research and develops practical resources and tools to provide members with everything they need to improve HR processes and implement talent initiatives. Our researchers also guide and advise members on how to apply this research in their own organizations.
  • HR Advisory Services & Workshops Guides our members on applying our research and tools in their own organizations, helping members accelerate their progress on key HR projects through practical results-focused workshops, focus groups, and guided implementation advisory calls.
  • Learning Solutions Focused on the growth and progress of HR professionals and people leaders at crucial stages of their development, the team crafts high quality learning content and facilitates training programs grounded in a research-informed curriculum. Our leadership coaches also support people leaders in maximizing their performance.

What does Diagnostics, Advisory, and Data Insights (DADI) do?

HR Diagnostics, Advisory, and Data Insights (DADI) manages McLean & Company's suite of strategy and talent-related diagnostic surveys, HR benchmarking, and analytics that inform our resources and services.

How is DADI structured?

The DADI team is made up of 3 core groups to help members with holistic management of their survey programs:
  • The Diagnostics Project Management team works directly with HR departments to guide members through every step of the diagnostic setup and launch process. We use our exceptional customer service, project management, and technical skills to guide members through the initial requirements gathering stage, up to final results delivery. We're focused on keeping all projects on track and on schedule while also providing an exceptional diagnostic experience.
  • The Diagnostics Advisory team works side by side with the Project Management team helping members from the start with discussions about strategy and best practices to make their holistic survey program a success. Advisors also take the final reports and document critical insights, debrief top-level members of the organization on the results of the survey, and work with members on next steps. We use our industry experience, facilitation, and problem-solving skills to get members to action.
  • The Statistical Analysis Unit (SAU) supports McLean & Company with any primary research needs, from participating in the work related to our popular trends surveys to gathering data points for our published research. We use our critical thinking skills, ability to think outside the box, and our statistical knowledge to support our members with custom analysis work they may need as an extension of their survey requirements.

What does Operations do?

Our Strategy & Operations teams act as a shared service function across all departments and brands. Our mandate is to provide the organization with administrative and back-end processing support all the way to strategic support for a wide range of processes and programs.

How is Operations structured?

Operations has a variety of roles that span multiple departments, each overseen by an experienced manager or director. Our Operations teams are organized by primary support functions or areas of expertise to help maximize our effectiveness in delivering results and assisting members.
