What differentiates Mixpanel from other similar products?
It's designed around user behavior from start the start, so instead of spending time structuring reports, I am directly exploring how users move through my product, where they drop off, and what actually drives retention.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
The moment I start exploring funnels or retention, it doesn't feel like I am building reports from scratch. It feels more like I am asking questions and getting answers instantly. That speed makes a huge difference when I am trying to validate ideas or understand why a feature isn't landing the way I expected.
What do you dislike most about this product?
At beginning it feels clean and intuitive, but once I start adding a lot of events, properties and custom definitions, maintaining consistency becomes a bit of a challenge.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
I'd say dont use it like a plug and play analytics tool. You'll get real value only if you're intentional about how you set it up from day one.
