About Emily Baxter

Emily Baxter is Director of HR Workshops at McLean & Company. With over 15 years of progressive HR experience, she brings deep expertise across leadership development, talent management, culture, employee engagement, organizational development, and change management.

Before joining McLean & Company, Emily worked in both the public and private sectors, partnering with leaders across multiple industries including government, manufacturing, distribution, and retail. Emily is passionate about helping leaders build HR strategy, programs, and initiatives and translating them into meaningful action. She leverages her facilitation background to create spaces for dialogue where leaders uncover root causes, co-create transformative HR practices, and build long-term, sustainable solutions that drive performance, employee experience, and business growth.

Emily holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Simon Fraser University and an Instructional Development Certificate focused on facilitation and adult learning from the Justice Institute of BC. She is also a Certified Change Practitioner (Prosci) and an EQ Coach.
