Project Coordinator
Alex Connolly is a project coordinator at McLean & Company, bringing over a decade of experience in training and development. In her current role, she coordinates HR organizational alignment and HR management and governance. Known for her commitment to excellence, Alex consistently goes above and beyond to support clients and collaborates efficiently with colleagues, helping organizations build better, more effective workplaces.
After her education in Halifax at the University of King’s College and Dalhousie University, Alex began her career on the east coast before relocating to Vancouver to pursue leadership opportunities in environmental health and safety. Prior to her current role, she served as a training manager for one of Canada’s largest producers of laminated veneer lumber (LVL), where she led impactful training programs that supported both compliance and culture.
Beyond her professional life, Alex is a passionate advocate for community engagement and access to legal support. She volunteers with her local chapter of the Community Foundation Organization as a legacy planner, where she helps individuals navigate estate planning and will preparation.
In her spare time, Alex finds balance through trail running, cooking – especially breakfast – and spending quality time in meaningful conversation with her husband and close friends.
